Grace Cho, L.Ac., is trained in Contemporary Oriental Medicine (COM) & Contemporary Oriental Pulse Diagnosis (CCPD), the refined diagnosis systems taught by Dr John H.F. Shen, DOM and Dr Leon Hammer, MD. These special diagnosis systems allow Grace to diagnose and treat modern illnesses in the realm of body pains and mental emotional disorders. And since she can observe the details of the body-mind-spirit connection, she can customize the treatments according to each individual and prescribe herbs as needed.

At school, she was trained in all programs:

  • Traditional Chinese Medicine (Pain Management, Internal Medicine, Mental-emotional conditions, etc.)
  • COM (modern Psycho-Mental emotional disorders)
  • Other Oriental Medicines, e.g. Korean medicine, Japanese acupuncture [KMSA], Scalp Acupuncture, etc.

Being interested in the research and science of health, Grace first studied Bachelor of Medical Sciences at UNSW, Australia. This is a 3-year course in a graduate medicine program in Australia. Upon completing the degree, she went to work in healthcare, complementary medicine, pharmaceuticals, and clinical trials for 8 years. Then she was drawn to the practice of preventative medicine, healing, and a rising complementary medicine - namely, acupuncture and oriental medicine - for which she moved to the US to venture, study, and practice. And now she has opened her practice in Duluth in 2022, along with practicing at two other locations.

Growing up in New Zealand and Australia, Grace has cultivated an understanding of inner healing and an appreciation of different peoples worldwide.  Together with her compassion, mixed in with her talents and experience, she is a truly caring and skilled practitioner.

Currently, Grace is practicing at three locations in Atlanta, Georgia -

  • Grace Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine
  • Emory University Hospital - Emory Brain Health Center
  • Sierra Botanica & Collaborative Medicine
